How Does the Duck Derby Work?
It's time to get quacking! Here's how the 2nd Annual Duck Derby works:
- Purchase Your Ticket: Just $5 each! Your ticket number will be marked on a rubber duck that will race down the Lackawaxen River. Tickets are pre-sale only, they will not be sold the day of the event. You do not need to be present to win, fill out the entire ticket.
- The Race: While we don’t encourage watching the actual race on the water, the first 5 ducks to cross the finish line will be announced at the Duck-Themed Community Event at Veterans Memorial Park starting at 1PM.
- Cash Prizes: 5 CASH Prizes - $1,000; $500; $250; $100; $50
- Duck-Themed Fun: After the race, join us for duck-themed games, delicious food, and a fun-filled sense of community spirit.
