Join us for the 1st Annual Duck Derby on July 12th as rubber ducks race down the beautiful Lackawaxen River!

After the winners cross the finish line, join us at Veterans Memorial Park for a duck-themed community event for all ages.

How Does the Duck Derby Work?

It's time to get quacking! Here's how the 1st Annual Duck Derby works:

Purchase Your Ticket: Just $5 each! Your ticket number will be marked on a rubber duck that will race down the Lackawaxen River. Tickets are pre-sale only, they will not be sold the day of the event.
The Race: While we don’t encourage watching the actual race on the water, the first 10 ducks to cross the finish line will be announced at the Duck-Themed Community Event at Veterans Memorial Park starting at 3PM.
Sponsored Prizes: Prizes for the first 10 ducks will be announced leading up to the event, sponsored by local businesses! See below.
Duck-Themed Fun: After the race, join us for duck-themed games, delicious food, and a fun-filled sense of community spirit.
Stay for the Show: As the sun sets, enjoy the movie Howard the Duck on the big screen at dusk.
